As part of the Annual Report, we investigate the following evolution of the European threat landscape:
…increase in the global average of weekly cyber attacks per organisation from the 3rd quarter of 2023 to 2024. Meanwhile, attacks in Europe grew by 86% year on year.
…of British businesses suffered a cyber breach or attack in the last 12 months, with more than 7 million incidents being reported in 2024.
…of all global cyberattacks occurred in Europe in 2023, with 71% of these attacks targeting critical infrastructure organisations.
